HOW THE SHEPHERDS’
SALVATION WAS SURPRISING: 1. THEIR SITUATION—Living rough outdoors with their sheep, poor economic prospects, oppressed by Rome, no promised Messiah in sight: life must have seemed bleak, indeed, if not also largely hopeless.
2. SUDDENLY—An ANGEL! And the HEAVENLY HOST! Announcing their long-awaited MESSIAH! Could it really be true? “Let’s go and see!”
3. NO ONE EVER HAD A LOUDER, CLEARER, MORE IMMEDIATE INVITATION—Even the dullest among them had no doubt Who lay there before them.
4. DID SOME STILL REFUSE TO YIELD THEIR HEARTS? Not many, one suspects.

I really like the Cole as well (as was mentioned), love the perspective. I am quite drawn to Allio and Moyers (21 & 22) also.
